About Us

WeTrainSoCal is an economic development and business assistance service maintained by the Economic & Workforce Development Network and the California Community College System. Our mission is to provide high-quality business solutions and customized workforce training to California businesses. In addition to providing superior certificate, vocational, and 2-year educational programs, each college provides consulting, training and business assistance in areas that pertain to their surrounding business community.

Each of the programs at the various colleges is headed by a business professional, knowledgeable in their particular field. Collectively, WeTrainSoCal is comprised of over 9,000 educators, trainers, and business leaders ready to serve you. Many of our services are completely free to local businesses. Many others are state subsidized, resulting in a very minimal expense and high ROI for employers.

All 109 community colleges in California offer programs ranging from specific services in energy technologies and culinary professions, to customized programs addressing topics that include: manufacturing, logistics, customer service, management planning, human resources and international trade protocol.
